Hi! I’m Andie Davis. I am a UX Designer and Researcher with an interest in the entire UX design process, including user research and synthesis, ideation, prototyping, and usability testing. Previously, I worked as a freelance social media marketing specialist, helping businesses create a better experience for the social media user. Through creating visually appealing company posts, using engaging language, and personally interacting with users, I created a community of loyal company followers. This way, they had a positive association and experience with the company on social media and would continue to follow, interact, and share the company with a wider audience organically. 

 

I have always been creative. I loved bedazzling designs on jackets and waterbottles as a kid, I took acting courses in college, and I’ve enjoyed food photography as a hobby since moving to NYC. I always knew that I wanted to utilize my creativity in a career, and I enjoyed my time creatively strategizing ways to help companies grow on social media. However, I was determined to have direct impact and interactions with users through design and research. Using my social media marketing experience of drawing in users, along with user research and design best practices, I have been able to create delightful designs that have significantly improved the user experience of mobile and desktop applications and websites in my projects.
